When trying to install the connecter software for Windows 8 Pro I get the following error message:
Cannot connect this computer to the server
Cannot connect this computer to the server because either another software installation is in progress, or the computer has a restart pending.
Either complete the installation or, or restart the computer and try connect to it again. If you still get this error after the computer restarts,
see Troubleshooting connecting the computers to the server for more information.
1) This was working and all the backups from my other computers have stopped working.
2) I have removed the computers from the domain and tried re-installing the connector software, however, the error is persistent now.
3) Could not join the domain. Turned on Netbois Server on WS2012E and I can join the domain now.
3) WS2012 Essentials is reporting that the backup service will not start.
Seems like a systemic problem.
