Good day,
I have a few questions regarding DHCP for Essentials 2012 R2. This is the first server for a small company of less than 25 users.
- 1. I have installed and configured the DHCP role in my new Essentials 2012 R2 server. However, when I open the DHCP console I do not see the server listed. I only see one giving a 169.254 address. I had already authorized this server but it will not show in the list in order for me to manage it. If I open the server manager console, it does show in there under the DHCP section. I can right click and select manage and it opens correctly, just not if I open DHCP console via Admin tools.
- 2. I have configured reservations for my copiers so they do not have IP changes, but they show in the DHCP console as inactive.
Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated.
