Hi all.
I have a problem with my network. I run a small server on windows server 2012 R2 essentials with only a couple of clients. A couple of months ago there where no problems. However recently the connection to the server on the internal network has become extremely slow. Browsing trough folders takes a couple of seconds to open a folder. I did a file copy test which showed an speed of around 50kb/sec while my network consists of a gigabit wired connection. I get roughly same speeds trough the wireless connection existing next to the wired connection. Sometimes it is even slower to just a few kb/sec.
For the outside speeds are okay. When I donwload from the server trough the remote webaccess I get speeds of a couple of mb/sec which is close to the internet connection. Also speeds on the internal network to the outside world and between other computers on the network seem to be okay.
Does anyone has any suggestions where to start to track down this problem or what the problem might be?
Any help will be appreciated as always.
