Is it possible to restore from an ntbackup bkf file (created in Small Business Server 2003) to a Microsoft Server 2012 Essentials server using ntbackup?

In short, will ntbackup work on 2012 Essentials to restore folders?

If not I guess I will have to copy the folders natively to a USB drive and then copy off that onto the 2012 E server.
