dns settings on ethernet adaptor

G'day,

I was messing around with the dns settings but I forgot what I did.

I use my D6300 netgear adsl router as the dhcp and dns. The Server 2012 essentials is a dhcp client (there is a static reservation for the server on the D6300).

What should the IPv4 and IPV6 settings be on the network adapter. Currently the dhcp is set to automatic for both. The ipv4 has the dns as the servers IP address and the secondary dns is 127.0.0.1. The ipv6 for the dns is ::1.
