We have numerous customers with Office365 integrated with their new Server 2012R2 with Essentials Experience or Windows 2012 Essentials. What we have recently noticed is that if we change a field IE department in active directory and we left it overnight the sync hasn't taken that up to the cloud. This turns out to be an issue as the customer is looking to use Exclaimer software which logs into Azure AD and takes the fields used for the signature.
We tested the sync was working ok by changing a password for a user which was immediately replicated to the cloud, so we know the sync is working correctly. We've also confirmed the administrators details is working between the 2 environments.
So what fields is the synchronisation taking up to the cloud from Active Directory and which fields is it not using the Essentials sync tool?
(Yes we understand we could use Dir Sync but this is supposed to be the same animal but for less tech savvy businesses which will give them 1 place to change details.
