Windows Server 2012 has installed. Client computers cannot connect - the connector software reports that the Server is unavailable. This happens on all three client machines. I have manually joined all three client machines to the domain, but cannot do client backups and do not have access to the dashboard from client machines.
Second issue - Windows Media Server will not start. Dashboard doesn't even have a tab for the service. Services.msc (wssmss) will not start the service. (Dashboard is accessed by remote connection to the server.)
Third issue - Cannot setup remote access. The setup has created a forwarding site at remotewebaccess.com, but fails to complete. I have manually set up port forwarding on my router. (The router setup from the dashboard settings does not
work.)
Are there checklists or step-by-step instructions on how these things may be done manually? I agree it is quite nice when these automated wizards work, but it is very frustrating when they don't.
