I just set up a new 2012 R2 Essentials server at a client site. Everything is working except I can't add any of the Windows 7 x64 client PCs. I go to the Connect page, download the connect software and run it. It gets to the screen where it asks for a username and password. I give it mine and get the popup that says this is an administrator level account and asks if I want to use a different account. I tell it no and it proceeds to the next screen in the install and then I get a popup basically saying the process has crashed.
I've rebooted the PCs several times, tried downloading the software multiple times, tried just telling it to run instead of save and then run, but I get the same result every time.
I can see the PCs in the dashboard although they're grayed out and so not reachable through there. Any ideas on what to do to get these clients added?
