Back Up Unsuccessful | W7 Client > WSE 2012

Hoping someone can help with this PITA :-|

I have followed the generic troubleshooting as recommended by the error msg but to no avail.

The W7 client (Dell D830) does have a slightly different file configuration than usual as follows:

1 x SSD (primary OS) = 'C' 

1 x HDD = 2 partitions = 'X' 'Data' + 'D' 'Old data'

I have configured some items in the register so that the user profiles are written to the 'X' and I can choose to write new app installations to either C or X.

I did this to minimize read / writes to the SSD and because the SSD is only 128GB in size.

I assume that something in this setup is preventing the automated backup of the client to WSE 2012.

Another client (with a single HDD and a conventional setup) on the domain has zero problems achieving back up success.

Any help with this greatly appreciated.
