Put together server on 8/17/2012. No client had been connected. Received server error “The Version of Client Computer Backup is older than the version of the operating System. You will not be able to backup client computers until problem is resolved”. Time stamp of server critical error “8/17/2012 6:38AM”. Could not clear this error.
Put together client box on 8/20/2012. Installed Operating System, Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Installed client connector on 8/21/2012. Received the error upon trying to perform a client backup. When looking at LANCHPAD, Alert Viewer, the lower left corner states, “This computer is not connected to the server”.
Uninstalled Server 2012e client.
Installed WHS 2011 client. Performed a backup with no errors.
Uninstalled WHS 2011 client.
Reinstalled Server 2012e client. Backup immediately returns the error.
Have not tried to attach any other client computers to server.
