Environment is Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials. Workstations are a mix of Windows 7 Pro, both 32 and 64-bit.
Network drives keep 'red x'ing out. Double clicking does not open them. I have applied a registry fix to the workstations (HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Service\lanmanworkstation\parameters, and added a keepconnected dword) and a net config server /autodisconnect:-1net to the server.
Rebooting will bring the network drives back online and apparently, when I access the system through the Remote Web Workplace I am able to double-click and bring them back on-line.
I have had this problem on other servers so it may well be something I have done. I am creating the shares and then mapping the drives using Windows Explorer, Computer, and the 'map network drive' at the top of the window.
Thanks for any pointers or good articles.
