We have Windows Server 2012 Essentials R2 running as a domain controller -- and have installed another licensed copy of the same thing on the same domain. We want to use the 2nd server for running an LOB application and provide backup for the AD services.
The 2nd server is a member of the domain. Can I do this and have the 2nd server provide AD failover services like they do with 2012 Standard?
