My current network has 2 servers. The domain controller is SBS 2008. I have an older member server that runs Server 2003. I plan on replacing this 2003 server and hardware. I plan on purchasing a new server and installing Server essentials 2012 R2 in migration mode to transfer all the domain info from my SBS server. I wish to retain the SBS 2008 box and it will run certain programs and host a number of files. I understand that sbs 2008 cannot exist on the same network and I will have to either downgrade it or install new software. Do I just purchase an additional copy of Server Essentials 2012 and install it in some sort of member server mode?
