Hi guys,
I am running a Windows Server 2012 Essentials with 2 network cards at the moment.
The first for WAN and the second for LAN, so my server is the firewall, dhcp server, ..
Now I want to run the server with one network card but it still should be dhcp-, dns server.
And I want to add a router with VPN, but I am not 100% about how to connect/configure the devices.
I would do it like this:
- Modem
--- Switch
------ VPN Router (connected on lan and dhcp deactivated)
------ Windows Server (connected on LAN, DHCP-, DNS Server)
------ Client 1
------ Client 2
.... so on
Will this work? Which firewall should I use?
I hope someone have some suggestions.
