Hello guys,
We are thinking on upgrading our server from SBS 2008 to 2012 Essential since is the new version for small business.
Our network is about 30 to 40 users, and one of my concern about this upgrade is to loose all the features that 2008 already have such as:
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
- Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
- Windows Server Update Services 3.0
- SQL Server 2008 Standard for Small Business
The windows 2012 Essentials doesn't have these features, and I was told I would have to buy them separately (Exchange, sharepoint and SQL) but I only have one server hardware.
Can someone please tell me how can I accomplish this????
Can I just upgrade to SBS 2011 so I can keep all the features or How can I install all these features I need (Exchange, sharepoint and SQL) into one server using 2012 Essentials????
