DirectAccess Setup Problems - Stuck on Network Topology

Hey Everyone,

So I finally got the Access Anywhere setup using MS's domain.remotewebaccess.com and I'm able to access our shared server information. I've tried to use a VPN access (which was also setup during anywhere access) but I'm unable to. When I try from a W8 machine I get an error 800. So I figured I'd just move on to try Direct Access. I run into a problem why I get to the network topology. Maybe I've got this super screwed up but here is how we have it. We have a small business cisco router (RVS4000) which is our DHCP which runs into our Netgear switch. From there we've got everything plugged in. Our server and two other main machine (broadcast automation) are also static but everything else is dhcp. So I select behind edge device w/ one adapter. But the "Type public name or IPv4 address used by clients to connect to the Remote Access server:" I've tried the domain.remotewebaccess.com, I've tried the internal static ip of the server, and I've tried our static IP address that runs into the router (which is set as a gateway). What am I missing here? Is our router not setup correctly? All I want is to simply VPN in and get access to the domain computers... that's it. I haven't done any proper MS training but I read and watch youtube videos. Please help, I'm getting to the end of my ropes.
