Folks,
Soon we would be using MS Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials(this will be our first server). We have Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 client machines and obviously everyone has a local account on their machine.
My question is when we configure AD and join these clients and users to the domain, does the user account and password need to be exactly the same that they currently use? If not, what is the industry best practice?
Any pointers are helpful and appreciated.
