We have successfully connected a Win 8 and Win 7 machine to the our new Windows Essential Server 2012.
However, we have two machines that won't connect. After launching the connector and then entering the login credentials we get a message the server is not available.
The connector on these two machines are referencing the ipv6 address it appears and the other two machines are referencing the IPv4 address of the server. (We can see the ip6 address in the name of the connector file.
We have tried using the ip address http://ipaddress/connect but it fails when we enter the ip4 address of the server instead of its name.
We are confident this is the issue but can't figure out how to resolve it.
When we are on a connected machine and browse the network and then look at the properties of the server it shows up with the IP 4 address.
On the machines that won't connect, we can still see the server in the network places but when you look at properties it returns the IP6 address.
Any suggestions?
