WSE2012 sometimes loses network connectivity, probably since latest updates

Hello,

I'm having some problems with my Windows Server 2012 Essentials. It has been working great for the past 9 months but started to act up a week ago or something. I think it was around the same time as I installed the updates of September but I'm not 100% sure.

What happens now is that sometimes it looks like it's losing network connectivity. I cannot access the shares anymore, can't remote desktop to it and my WD TV Live doesn't find it anymore either. A reboot fixes remote desktop and share connectivity, for WD TV live I sometimes have to reboot 2 times for it to be able to access the shares (but that could be the WD TV live).

My server hibernates during the night automatically with Lights Out. I think I only have the problem when it comes out of hibernation, but I'm not 100% sure of that either, but I'm going to keep track of that in the following couple of days. It's also not every time it comes out of hibernation, that's for sure, sometimes it still works.

Did any of the windows updates change anything that could be causing this ?
After I noticed the issue I installed an optional update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2876415 in the hope that this would fix it but unfortunately it didn't.

Maybe important to know: I have uninstalled DNS services from the server as my router does the DNS in my network, but this has been working fine for the past 7 months or so. I've also tried pinging on ip address but even that doesn't work when remote desktop/shares are down, so it really is unreachable.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Thank you in advance,

Jorn
