All Windows 7 clients migrated over from SBS 2003 do not show up in the WS2012E dashboard. I was wondering what would happen if I rerun the connect computer wizard. I don't want to loose the users desktops in doing this. Where might the join client error log file be and what is it called?
In another related issue, the launchpad does not startup on these same clients. So it seems something didn't work initially when joining them. There must be an indication in the log file.
The clients do have full access to the network and it's resources, just don't show in dashboard and the launchpad doesn't startup.
