Hello, I tried to connect a macbook running OS X 10.7 (lion) but was unsuccessful. I connected to the server page and downloaded the mac "connector", the process started out fine until the part about providing credentials (username and password) I get an error "Failed to Authenticate"
I went to the server reset the user account's password and then tried again, and got the same problem. The user account is a regular user (not administrative account)
This is the first time I connect a mac to the server so I have no idea if I will find the same problem with other macs or if it is just this one, I do have to connect a few other mac machines from the faculty members in the following days so we will see how that goes...
I would appreciate any insight into solving this problem.

update: I failed to mention a couple of points:
I connected to the server by typing //ipaddress/connect rather than using the hostname of the server since using hostnmame didnt work.
Also, the laptop is connected to the network through an amped wireless repeater, dont know if this is relevant (because of possible dns issues) but the machine had no problem connecting to the internet or accessing other resources on the network...
